• Skin preparation: Assess dryness, dehydration, oiliness and texture, and select products that help makeup apply smoothly and wear well.

• Colour matching spray-tanned brides: Assess depth and undertone, balance the face with the neck and décolletage, and avoid a base that appears orange, pink or ashy.

• Flawless foundation and concealing: Build coverage and correct discolouration without creating a heavy finish or emphasising texture.

• Makeup longevity: Combine compatible products, strategic powdering and setting techniques to help makeup withstand heat, tears and a long wedding day.

• Troubleshooting your base: Address separation, creasing, patchiness and excess shine, including when to remove product rather than add more.

• Bridal eye techniques: Create seamless blends and flattering definition, adapting placement for hooded lids and different eye shapes.

• Lash selection and application: Choose lashes that complement your bride’s eyes and desired look, with comfortable, secure placement.
